Date: 13.10.2020. - 09.02.2021.

In this school year Cesis State Gymnasium (Latvia) is taking a part in an environment action with the aim to collect used paper and batteries.

Our students, teachers and parents collected more than 1400 kg of used paper and 22 kg of used batteries. We gave the collected paper to a company which recycles it and manufactures cellulose fiber products.In this action our students found out about products which can be obtained by recycling paper and learned a good waste management practice.

Eco-friendly Christmas decorations and presents.

Every year on Christmas, everyone decorates their Christmas trees. It has become a tradition worldwide, and most people buy their ornaments in the store. But you can make your ornaments at home, From 07.12.2020. - 22.12.2020. students from Latvia prepared Eco-friendly Christmas decorations and presents.

They described 2 photos with global issues and made suggestions what they and people could do to help our planet.
